She is a current staff writer at the San Francisco Chronicle and previously worked for NPR’s station in the city. She was awarded the California Local News Fellowship from 2024 to 2026 and the Joshua Tree Highlands Artist Residency for screenwriting, where in the Fall of 2026 she is set to complete the script for her first feature film.
She studied history at Brown University, where she learned filmmaking, creative writing and longform journalism. Her writing about abortion won first place at the San Francisco Press Club Awards.
